  • Timestamps of activities and claims.
  • Earnings, balances, and internal Credits history (including matured and non-matured points and withdrawals).
  • Technical data such as IP address, browser type and version, device and operating system information, referral URLs, and timestamps of requests.

3.3 Analytics Data

We use analytics tools (such as Vercel Analytics or similar) to understand how the Service is used. These tools may collect information such as:

4 How We Collect Information

5 Purposes of Processing

5.1 Providing and Operating the Service

We use your information to create and manage your account, record your activities and earnings, and process faucet claims and withdrawals.

5.2 Security and Fraud Prevention

We process data to protect the Service against bots, abuse, and fraudulent behavior. This includes captcha checks, anti-bot solutions, IP-based protections, and a maturing system for points that become withdrawable only after a defined period.

5.3 Analytics and Improvement

We analyze how the Service is used in order to improve performance, usability, and reliability. This often relies on aggregated or pseudonymized analytics data.

5.4 Communication

We use your contact information to respond to your requests and support inquiries, and to send important service-related notices (e.g., security alerts or updates to these terms).

5.5 Legal Compliance

We may process your information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, and to protect our rights and interests.

6 Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, protect the Service against bots and abuse, and perform basic analytics.

Most browsers allow you to manage cookies via their settings. If you disable cookies that are essential for the Service, some features may not function properly or you may not be able to log in.

7 Sharing and Disclosure

7.1 Service Providers

We share information with third-party service providers who help us operate and improve the Service, including:

  • Infrastructure, database, and authentication providers (e.g., Supabase or similar).
  • Hosting and deployment providers (e.g., Vercel or similar).
  • Analytics providers (e.g., Vercel Analytics).
  • Security and anti-bot providers (e.g., Cloudflare Turnstile).
  • Bright Data Ltd. — provider of the Bright SDK (Web Indexing) service, which allows users to opt in to sharing unused network bandwidth in exchange for passive sats earning. See Section 16 for full details.

These providers process data on our behalf and are required to protect it and use it only for the purposes we specify.

7.2 Payout-Related Services

When you withdraw Credits via Bitcoin Lightning Network, FaucetPay, or other supported payout methods, we share the necessary information (such as the payout address or account identifier and amount) to process the transaction.

These third-party networks and providers have their own privacy policies and terms. Once a transaction is initiated, your data and funds are also subject to their practices.

7.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities. We may also disclose information when we believe it is necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users or the public.

7.4 Business Transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

8 Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the Service, fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer required, we will delete it or anonymize it.

9 International Transfers

Because we use global infrastructure providers, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. These countries may have different data protection laws, but we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place where required.

10 Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit where appropriate, secure authentication, and protection against automated abuse and bots. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11 Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal data, such as the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data, as well as the right to data portability or to object to certain processing.

To exercise your rights, please contact us at support@tapnloot.com. We may ask you to verify your identity before responding.

12 Children’s Privacy

The Service is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age or the age of legal majority in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so that we can take appropriate steps.

13 Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not operated by us. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.

14 Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes have been posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.

16 Bright Data SDK — Web Indexing

Tapnloot integrates the Bright SDK, a service provided by Bright Data Ltd. ("Bright Data"). The Bright SDK allows users on Android to opt in to sharing a portion of their device's unused internet bandwidth (the "Web Indexing" or "Bright SDK" feature) in return for passive sats earning as part of the Tapnloot value exchange.

16.1 What the Bright SDK Does

When enabled, the Bright SDK anonymously indexes public web data from freely accessible internet sites — such as product prices, public business listings, and similar information — using a small portion of your device's idle network bandwidth. This runs silently in the background and does not interrupt your use of the app.

16.2 Data Collected by the Bright SDK

The Bright SDK may collect and process the following information about your device and network connection:

  • Your IP address (used solely to route anonymous web requests).
  • Technical device and network information, such as operating system version, hardware specifications, and approximate geolocation based on IP address.
  • URLs and timestamps of web requests made through your bandwidth (limited to publicly accessible sites).

The Bright SDK does not collect your name, email, browsing history, personal files, app usage data, or any other personally identifying information. Bright Data's full privacy practices are available at: https://brightdata.com/privacy .

16.3 Opt-In Only

Participation in the Bright SDK Web Indexing feature is strictly voluntary and requires your explicit opt-in consent. You are not required to enable it. If you choose to opt in, you will receive passive sats earning as described in the in-app consent screen. You may opt out at any time from your profile settings.

16.4 How to Enable or Disable

On Android, the Bright SDK consent screen is presented the first time the feature is offered. After that, you can manage your opt-in preference at any time from the Profile section in the Tapnloot app. Disabling the feature stops the Bright SDK service immediately.

16.5 More Information
